Christine's Life
All about my college life
Entry for September 01, 2006
Okay, so when you see a video clip on the news section of your home page that says "10 kids hit by van at bus stop" thinking maybe it will be funny, you've had an interesting day. Hahaha. A lot of really wierd things have happened since I left my apartment again for classes. The first thing has to start with a little bit of history. Eric and I were at walmart in holland a while back, and I went to the express lane with this guy checkout. The guy sounded really funny, and he kept...mumbling to himself I guess. Seriously, it was hilarious. It was like he was posessed or something. Eric and I were both standing there trying so hard to look normal and not smile, and I just busted out laughing. So basically I wait in line for a different lane now just so I don't have to try and keep a straight face....because I cant. Okay, now for today's story. I'm waiting outside my psychology class waiting for the class ahead of me to get out, and I'm talking to this one guy. All of the sudden I here this really wierd voice, so I have to turn around and look. Yup, it's the walmart kid. hahaha. Im thinking as long as I sit far away from him, I'll be okay. Secondly, i talked to Gerald Tenbrink! I was sitting down doing homework, well, actually, I was staring off into space with the homework in my lap... and he was right in front of me! It was crazy. He and Becca are still together which is so cool. Hopefully I'll see him around, but you never know, it's a big place. My biology class was another crazy event in my day. Last night, our homework was to read the syllabus (he he, yeah right) and three different long articles. Needless to say, my little problem with the noise last night made it a little tough to retain every frickin word. So anyways, of course we get tested on it. The teacher hands us a test with a ton of questions about little details in the articles, and tells us we have ten minutes to fill in our name, class number, and about a million other things on the answer sheet, and then finish the whole test. So I quick fill in the answer sheet, and skim the instructions. Same instructions that were on a fill in the bubble homework assignment we just did, so I didn't pay too much attention. Anyways, the girl on the right of me finished in like three seconds, and the girl on the left took the whole ten minutes. I finished all of the questions just in time. So after we turn in our tests, the teacher is like "so how many of you answered all of the questions?" and about half of the class raised their hands. Then he told us that he added a line in the middle of the instructions saying only to do up to problem twelve just to see if we were listening. And not only did I do all that extra work, but he took points off the tests that had more than twelve answers on them. ouch. Well, I guess I better go find out what I'm doing tonight.
