Today is the first full day that I've been in my apartment. I like it so much more than the dorms, there is actually room to breathe. I'm really happy about the way I decorated it too. It's really wierd not having kids running around all over the place though. I went home this morning to say hi to everyone and get the other half of my fishies that I couldn't catch before I moved in, it's nice being close enough to run home for things. Other than that, my day was pretty uneventful. This evening was really nice though. Eric came to see me, so that made everything 50 times more fun. I felt really bad that we couldn't spend more time in my apartment, but the fourth girl hasn't moved in yet, and things are still really awkward around here. As soon as we are all together and we can talk about our rules as far as visitors, Im sure things will be much better. It really sucks walking around on eggshells trying not to offend anyone. Hopefully we will all get to know each other and things will be a little more laid back. I really miss home right now though. It's hard getting used to living away from what means the most to me. It's wierd moving away from my family, and further from eric to go to school. I mean, when I think about my future and what I really want, I honestly don't care about what job I have as long as I can support myself and someday maybe my kids or whatever. All I care about is being with the people I love. I feel like I'm giving that up to meet standards other people have set for me. I know I will be fine, and I will eventually start having fun here, but it's just tough right now. I'm so glad that Eric came to visit, Im just sad that our time was so compromised. I hope he knows how important he is to me, and that even though my life is a little different here, he is still the most important part.
