In late 2000, Michaebusa took the International Satellite Television Championship of the World back to his home country of Japan, where he defended it successfully for several months before it was unified with the East Indies Championship and the N. Hungarian Welterweight Grand Prix in an attempt to boost ticket sales in those regions.  Ultimately, this was a failure and the title was "unsanctioned" by the VGWA and was relegated to being defended in the backyards of suburbian Indonesia.  The title lineage was lost to the sands of time...
