October 7, 1998 - On this day in wrestling history, "The Widowmaker" Mike Todd knocked out Hungarian Champion Magnum B.A.  Of course, the title did not change hands on a TKO, and Todd did not seem to care.  "It's just one more thing to carry to the ring." said the Widowmaker.

October 8, 1998 - Only two men in the history of the VGWA have held the Hungarian Commonwealth People's Heavyweight Championship of the World , the N.W.A. Junior Heavyweight Championship of the World, and the International Tag-Team Grand Prix: Mike-Pac and Chad Benoit.  Only two men who can call themselves Triple-Crown Champion.  As a result, these men were bitter rivals.  The only way to settle the score was to have a Best-of-Seven Series.  It took place over three days.

Match One: Mike-Pac got the victory via submission.
Match Two: Chad Benoit won via submission.
Match Three: Mike-Pac wins with another submission!

October 12, 1998 -

October 24, 1998 - International Tag Team Grand Prix Champions D. Dallas Derdowski and "Macho" Chad Poffo leave for a tour of Japan and take the titles with them.  As punishment for their refusal to wrestle several title matches to which they had been contractually bound, they were stripped of the titles, which were then awarded to BillKushi and the SuperFreak, who defeated Sir Edward Regal and Chad Hall, the top contenders to the title, on October 26.

October 28, 1998 - After being pulled over by Missouri State Troopers, BillKushi and Supafreak were arrested on charges of cocaine possession, and as a result were stripped of the International Tag Team Grand Prix.  The titles were won that very same night by Chad Perfect and Chad Jericho, who defeated Bill Zybyzko and Beng.

November 30, 1998 - "The Ace O' Spades" Bill Finley captures his 2nd Hungarian Title with a win over Big Sexy Chad Nash @ 14:59, just one second before the time limit expired!
