Another exciting VGWA event took place on May 15.  Here are the results...

1) Ripper Murdoch returned to take on the challenge of Sacriphisto!  Murdoch won @ 2:56... Sacriphisto's manager, Professor Zoom, berated him all the way back to the locker room.

2) The Wapanaya Bros. (Ianukka & David) defeated the Sweet/Winkle Connection to capture the Tag Team Championship!  Ianukka pinned "Winkin" Perry Lincoln, and in doing so became the first ever Grand Slam Champion, having held the Hungarian, Globally Recognized and now the Tag Titles.

3) "Kentucky" Jon Derby defeated "The Iron Baron" Gustaf Von Klaus @ 9:56, just four seconds before the time limit would have expired.  It was a grueling match that was nominated for Match of the Year!

4) Hank Stonewall vs. Ulyssess Fullerton vs. Billy LaLonde vs. Chad Derdowski in a 4-man battle royale to determine #1 contendership ...

* Fullerton pinned Stonewall

* Stonewall pulled Fullerton over the top rope to eliminate him

* Derdowski pinned LaLonde to become the #1 contender!

5) 2007 BattleBowl Champion King Kong Glory challenged The Chicken for the Globally Recognized Championship.  He was soundly defeated by the foul fowl @ 2:34.  What an embarrasment for Glory!

6) "Polish Prince" Chad Derdowski cashed in his title shot against The Scissorwolf, and after a heated matchup, was defeated @ 8:54.  Scissorwolf remains the Undisputed Hungarian Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion of the World.

7) Carl Stonewall defeated Monte Altazzar @ 4:42 in Round One of their best-of-seven series.
