The VGWA rang in the New Year with a bang!
1) Ianukka Wapanaya won a 12-man Superstar Elimination Match @ 35:09, last defeating Skullduggery. This put him in line for a shot at the Globally Recognized Championship.
2) Hunter Vargas defeated Skullduggery in a cage match @ 6:19. After the match, Skullduggery was livid. He began to smash the announcers table, and he even struck a fan with his kendo stick. Once again, he vowed revenge on Hunter Vargas.
3) Terry Menard got his rematch against Monte Altazzar for the Undisputed Hungarian Commonwealth People's Heavyweight Championship of the World. Terry may be a sensation, but Monte reminded him that he's just a rookie. Two minutes into the match, Altazzar burned Menard by breathing fire into his face (the ref had his back turned). Terry struggled to continue the match, but it was all over save the cryin'. Monte got the pinfall @ 4:47.
After the match, a deranged Monte Altazzar grabbed a ringside microphone and screamed "Derby! Deeerrrrrrrbyyyyy!" repeatedly, while striking Terry Menard. "Deerrrrrrrbyyyy!" WHAM! "Derrrbbyyyy!" WHAM! Over and over until security came in and he relented. Looks like someone is calling out the Derbs.
4) The action spilled over into the next day, and as the clock struck midnight, the bell rang and the next match began!
Ianukka Wapanaya challenged "The Iron Baron" Gustaf Von Klaus for a shot at his Globally Recognized Championship. Von Klaus busted Wapanaya open with the very first punch from his iron-plated glove. The match see-sawed for 7 minutes and 53 seconds, but ended when Ianukka Wapanaya got the pinfall and took home the title!
