Arena Results - December 20, 2006

December 20th saw another scintillating show from the VGWA

1) Ianukka Wapanaya defeated "Irish Crippler" Casey O'Connor via pinfall @ 3:02

2) Bronson Thunderhammer took on "Big Dutht" Billy Rhodth.  Several minutes into this hard-fought contest, the referee was knocked unconsious.  As Billy Rhodth tried to revive him, Monte Altazzar ran to the ring and attacked Thunderhammer!  Eventually, Chad Derdowski came out to put an end to Altazzar's evil.  The referee awoke, and Big Dutht got the pinfall at 6:53.  Then Rhodth, Derdowski and Thunderhammer chased Monte Altazzar to the backstage area.

3) Ripper Murdoch was joined in the ring by Larry Stonewall!  Larry said he had come to get some revenge for his brothers!  A Texas Tornado tag match was sanctioned.  No one wanted to be Monte Altazzar's partner, but a large wad of cash handed from Monte to Kangaroo Black changed all that.

The action was fast and furious, and at the 5 minute mark, Monte once again breathed fire, this time into the faces of both Ripper Murdoch and Larry Stonewall!  Both men kept on fighting though.  Their injuries got the best of them, along with several chairs to the skull.  Monte pinned Larry @ 7:45

* Neither Larry Stonewall nor Ripper Murdoch was severely burned*

4) Hunter Vargas sucessfully defended his Globally Recognized Championship against Skullduggery with a pinfall @ 8:25.  After the match, Skullduggery declared Vargas the better man tonight, but asked that Vargas give him a rematch.  Hunter agreed and shook Skullduggery's hand, whereupon 'Duggs whacked Vargas over the head with a kendo stick.

5) The Black Falcon won a 12-man battle royale.

6) The announcer stated that since Scissorwolf was not in the arena, he would have to forfeit his shot at the Undisputed Hungarian Commonwealth People's Heavyweight Championship of the World.  Just then, Scissorwolf stormed the ring in his street clothes.  He said his flight had been delayed, but now he was here to kick ass!  Terry Menard hit the ring and it was on!  Menard was vicious in his attempts to break the leg of the Scissorwolf.  Eventually, Menard won with a figure-four leglock @ 8:38.  Paramedics took Scissorwolf out on a stretcher.

7) Frogman Ichihara wrestled a farewell match before leaving the VGWA for a tour of Japan.  "the Polish Prince" Chad Derdowski was to be his opponent.

Ichihara shocked the fans and most wrestling critics when he achieved a pinfall victory over Derdowski!  Farewell, Frogman!  Ichiban!
