At Shush, visited the remains of Darius' winter palace and surrounding town.  The French castle/fort built to protect its archaeologists was closed for restoration.  Visited Daniel's Tomb.  Caught bus back to Ahwaz and plane back to Tehran.  Overnight guest of very hospitable fellow passenger.
