Flew to Ahwaz and caught bus to Shush.  Visited the ziggurat at Choqa Zanbil and the remains at Haft Tappeh (Seven Hills), where achaeologists from Man in Germany are conducting some excavation with the help of students from Tehran.  They have found - during this visit - a number of clay tables written in Akkadian from the middle Elamite period.
