I was chatting with my brother about the NIU shooting, since he goes to NIU. He said, "You know, I know everyone's sad, but nobody ever feels bad for the parents of the shooter." Which is interesting. During the Virginia Tech massacre, nobody cared too much about the family of Seung-hui Cho. Yes, he was responsible for the untimely deaths of many, but how many people can know how much it hurts for those who saw him grow up? The parents and their daughter were pretty much locked up in their house, wishing that none of that had ever happened.



It's quite sad, how someone would become so desperate that he would use firearms to take the lives of many. I don't know what prompted him to do that. Maybe we'll know tomorrow.
