My testimonial was constructed from the viewing of the movie My Girl when I was eleven years old.  I used the method of comparison to construct my paper by describing the similarities between me and the main charater Vada Sultenfuss.  I connected the story to a hard time in my life, explaing why I had such a bond with Vada.  I also established the fact that things don't always work out the way they do in the movies.   Not all things in life have a happy ending, but we can learn from our trials.  A simple movie brought me to some realizations and truths.
