In May 2008, the UK government is introducing a climate change bill into Parliament. They are proposing a 60% cut in carbon emmissions by 2050. From what climate change scientists are telling us, we believe that this is not enough and that 80% is needed by 2050. This might sound like a lot, but it is easily achievable and requires us to reduce by less than 5% per year, every year until 2050. We are protesting outside the houses of parliament from the first week of march. If you feel stronly about this come join in protest.
