Go for a sail in the ocean in your very own sailboat, like my Cal 24. Enter a race. Maybe, if the sail gods will it, win the race and get a trophy.(A glass mug engraved 'Del Mar Yacht Club..May bee an engraved silver platter. May bee your name a a big trophy cup?......) Have a good time, Be exhilerated, and beaming joyous and satisfied. Eat a wholewheat ,raisen bread, peanut butter and salimi sandwich , with swiss cheese, slilced tomatos, a touch of mayonnaise, salt. Or,if that doesn't get it, whatever else. Let someone else steer while you set the sails. Like corn chips with spicy cheese or, salsa dip. Set sail for Catalina Island by way of the West End. And as you approach the dramatic, mountainous vista of the island, close-hauled, healed-over and scudding along on a fresh breeze,..spend an hour sailing smack thru the middle of a mega-school of 10,000 leaping porpoises, darting around and under your boat in all directions. ..then past the rocky shore, and on into narrow, nearly hidden, fjord like entrance into Catalina Harbor. Anchor in, your smaller, centerboard yacht has shallow, draft: or, if not, grab a mooring bouy. Inflate yoour rubber rafts, and paddle ashore. Or call channel 9 for a ride in on the Shore Boat, Hurry, tho, they're announcing on the PA system, that you've won the race. Put you burger on the grill (it can be a tofu-garden burger, or turkeyburger, if you aks forgiveness of the turkey god), and join the festivities. Theres plenty of beer and cold sodas to go around, and great sea-storys from all the sailor men and sailor women gathered round. Hailalooyah and Amen. No, not a dream but reality, for truth is more fantastic than fiction.
You'll be dead quite soon enuf, and when your dead, youl be dead foreveer, thats fer shure, so tryan have a good time. Remember that your good deeds bless the world and therin lies yooour immortality.
A penney earned is a penny saved, a stich in time saves nine or throw it out and geet a new one, cause it'll save time.
