Do I dare go as far

As to ask so I'll know?

 

I wish that I knew

Just which route I should take:

Go up and say, "Hi?"

Or just shut-up and wait.

Lay on the floor and gurgle,

"Gargle-dee-goup."

Or ask her on over

For crackers and soup.

We can run through the snow

On ice-slippin' jaunts,

But how do we know
