I started this journey a very long time ago, perhaps even lifetimes ago. I have forgiven those who have harmed me for their ignorance has led me here. I have found peace, I have found light, I have found love.
For years I searched desperately for a Christian Church that would accept me and my gifts, but to no avail - it just wasn't to be. I finally found a Spiritualist Church where I wasn't considered a freak of nature and was made to understand that I wasn't EVIL as I was told by the Christian society, instead I was welcomed with open arms and that is where I came to rest and rest I did for quite some time. It was a peaceful time and an enlightening period in my life, but I knew that this was not where I was meant to be. I moved on through many different religions - mostly Eastern and Wiccan/Pagan. It just seemed to get more and more confusing and I ended up wavering on my path, but the Earth religions seemed to bring me peace and an understanding of the world around me in a whole new light. By understanding so many of the paths that I have walked I have been able to find one I am comfortable with, it is my own path. I came to accept who I am and that religion is just a "word" . What we feel inside is the life we live, it's the same path our ancestors walked, it's life. They knew the force that existed within all things, they touched the earth and knew this was a part of them. Call it what you will, our ancestors forged their bond by giving names to this force as Gods and Goddesses. The Earth was created by this force and given stewardship over us in the form of the Great Mother. She nurtures us, heals us and gives us sustenance. She is the altar I kneel upon, I follow no rituals only what I know to be true in my heart. She is the life blood that flows through my veins, she is the breath that I breathe. We have forgotten the old ways, we have turned our backs on the Great Mother as our own children now turn their backs on us. We have raped and ravaged her soul and it has left us a broken people. Through light and love we can restore balance and life to Our Mother. Respect her, honor her, give back to her what she has given to you...
Life.
I have touched the earth and have felt the Great Mother within, this is the way that I have chosen. I follow the path of the Ancient Ones.
