For Us To Release The Power Of The Soap To Clean Our Body, We Need To Take The Bar Outa The Box And Apply The Soap To Your Body. God`s Word Is Just Like That
God`s Word has The Power To Transform Your Life. It Has The Power To Change Your Life Completey, But As Long As It Sits Un`Opened The Power Can Never be Released. God`s Word Is Living And Active And Able To Change Your Life, But To Release The Power You Need To Apply It. To Release The Power Of God`s Word You Need To Open It Up And Read It, But Most Importantly, Apply It To Your Life. Soap Is Faithful And So Is God`s Word.

I. Read God`s Word---(Joshua 1:8 Says; This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.)
A. First Thing We Need To Do Is Crack Open The Cover. Sometimes Thats The Toughest Thing To Do.
B. Be Encouraged To Meditate--Be In The Word--Every Day.
C. Three Ingredients For Daily Meditating On The Word.
1. Time: When Will You Spend Time Reading?
Choose A Good Time During The Day--Morning Or Evening.
2. Territory: Where Will You Spend Time Reading?
Get Away From Distraction.
3. Translation: What Will You Read?
Get A bible Translation You Can Understand The NIV Bibles A Very Good One To Use.
D. The Place To Start Is By Makeing The Time To Open God`s Word And Sticking To It!
II. Remember God`s Word--(Psalm 119:11 Says;Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.)
A. More Then Just reading It Reflec On It!
We Need To Think About What It says And Ask The Question, What Does It Mean For My Life?
B. Hiding The Word In Your Heart:
1. Treasure The Word
2. Think About The Word.
3. Memorize the Word.
C. As You Spend Time Reflecting On God`s Word, It Will Transform Your Way Of Thinking And Seeing Things Around You. You Will See Things From A Different Perspective--God`s.
D. The Holy Spirit Who Lives Inside You Will Bring It Back To Memory
E. As You Think About And Reflect On It, God Will Speak To You.
III. Respond To God`s Word---(James 1:22-25 Says; 22. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding your own selves.
23. For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:
24. for he beholdeth himself, and goeth away, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25. But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.)
A. There`s More Than Just Reading; More Than Just Reflecting And Remembering It--We Need To Put Into Action What We Find Within The Pages.
B. Like The Soap, The Power Of God`s Word Is Only Released When We Apply What We Are Reading--I.e, "Do What It Says."
1. Example One: A Person Sees Himself In A Mirror, Walks Away, Forgets.
2. Example Two: A Person Who Looks In The Mirror Intently, Acts On What He Sees; Will Be Blessed/Happy (True Joy And Fulfillment In Life).
C. Truly Happy people Are Those Who Study God`s Word. They Don`t Forget What They Readed, But They Do Something About It!-- They Apply It.
D. Which One Will You Be? Will You Act On What You Read?
The Big Idea; God`s Word Is His Love Letter To You, But You Need To Apply It To See Results.
Read It!--Set A Time And Territory And Select Trasnlation.
Remember It!--Reflect On What You`re Reading.
Respond To It!--Apply It, Do Something With What You Readed And Heard.
