Paradise
Book summary: Corporate raider Matthew Farrell had come a long way from the poor, scruffy kid of Indiana's steel mills. A cool, poised executive in her family's legendary department store chain, Meredith had once defied her father for the sexually magnetic, intense Matt Farrell -- and their brief, ill-fated marriage was the disastrous outcome. Now, as the Bancroft firm is threatened by a hostile takeover, Meredith is forced to confront Matt. As tensions build between them, bittersweet memories rise to the surface, leaving them suspicious, restless, and uncertain. Will they be able to believe in each other -- and grasp the tender miracle that is before them?
Perfect
Book Summary: A rootless foster child, Julie Mathison had blossomed under the love showered upon her by her adoptive family. Now a lovely and vivacious young woman, she was a respected teacher in her small Texas town, and she passionately lived her ideals. Julie was determined to give back all the kindness she'd received; nothing and no one would ever shatter the perfect life she had fashioned.
Zachary Benedict was an actor/director whose Academy Award-winning career had been shattered when he was wrongly convicted of murdering his wife. After the tall, ruggedly handsome Zack escaped from a Texas prison, he abducted Julie and forced her to drive him to his Colorado mountain hideout. She was outraged, cautious, and unable to ignore the instincts that whispered of his innocence. He was cynical, wary, and increasingly attracted to her. Passion was about to capture them both in its fierce embrace...but the journey to trust, true commitment, and proving Zack's innocence was just beginning.... {{When I finished reading this book and shut the last page I literally said 'Perfect'!}}

The Passion
Book Summary: *Warning: Extreme angst!! If I had known I probably wouldn't have read it since I'm not big on angsty things, but it was well worth it!* After the violent murder of three werewolves in Manhattan, Alexander Devoncroix realizes he must tell his son, heir to his leadership of the pack, the story of his own disastrous love for a human. In a flashback to 1897 Paris, 28-year-old Tessa LeGuerre attempts to kill Alexander in revenge for his having let her father die on an expedition in the American wilderness. She fails and falls in love with Alexander, while he introduces her to the world of werewolves who, neither half-wolf nor half-human, are superior animals who designed the pyramids, live hundred of years and secretly control human civilization.
As Tessa comes to appreciate werewolf arrogance toward mere humanity, Alexander introduces her to the werewolf queen Elise, and Tessa becomes enmeshed in the evil plots of Alexander's brother Denis?with terrible consequences for everyone involved. There is as much of Beauty and the Beast in this story as there is of Rice's vampire world, but the Passion itself (the werewolf's greatest pleasure and weakness) provides a strong erotic punch. [I cannot even tell you how much this book upset me--but for all of its sadness the book kicked ass!]
The Promise
Book Summary: Sequel to The Passion! Alexander Devoncroix has been murdered. His controversial son, Nicholas, has new plans. Nicholas believes that the werewolves' ties to humans degrades their species, contaminating them like poison. He wants werewolves to part from humans and to form separate factions--an edict opposed by his late father. However, on a flight into the north of Alaska, his helicopter is downed by an undetected bomb. He crashes in the same area where Hannah Braselton North has chosen to live.
She has abandoned civilization to spend her life living in the wild. She finds Nicholas in werewolf form, burned and maimed, and nurses him back to health. Amid the wreckage she also finds a book of memoirs, and it's through this book that the history of the Devoncroix family is revealed and Nicholas's plans put in jeopardy.
The Alchemist
(I have not read this one yet, but I will. I think (hoping) it's the third book in this series, but reading the summary I don't think it will be!)
