This page is dedicated to my sister. I miss her terribly.
She was killed when Iris Gene McKinzey, a speeding truck driver, ran his red light carrying 80,000 lbs of lumber on his truck.
Not a day goes by that my heart does not ache for my sister.
Not a day passes that I don't miss her and wish for her to be near me.
I wish this pain to no one.
Her birthday nears, so here I write-
wishes, emotions, and my thoughts this night.

She was to be twenty, this day in November.
In my mind her laughter is what I remember.

Across from me she sat, a smile on her face-
No longer my "little" sister, now a woman in her place.

Somewhere the change occurred,
Amazing it is - how our vision is blurred.

At 17 a mother she became,
still going to school and working all the same.

I SCREAM "She was cheated", beg for answers why
No rumble, no rain, nothing from up high.

So here I sit this day, alone in November.
Her smile, her love, her heart- I'll always remember.

I dreampt of her again,
In my deam I lost her yet again, we stand at the funeral home once again, and yet they will not let me see her ... they will not let me look on the beautiful face of my sister. I screamed I need to see her, I cried, begged - still nothing.

I ache from the loss of her ! I awaken my eyes red, my cheeks soaked, my throat is soar from the screaming I did in my sleep.... I miss her, I need her, I love her still !

My Sister ! Give her back. Her life was not yet complete, I beg to you .. give her back. Fill this empty void in my heart, ease this constant pain in my soul! I need to hold her, to talk to her! I need to see her face, her smile ! GIVE HER BACK !!! My heart rages with anger my soul set ablaze with fury! GIVE ME BACK MY SISTER !
