James Giles has always had an interest in art, unfortunately he was born lacking the artistic bone. He's very analytical and performs his best work when factoring logistics and numbers. Not knowing how to type into the right side of his brain, he continued working in fields that played more to his strengths rather than his interests. After some time in the "real world" he realized that working logistically, and with facts and figures weren't what made him happy. He decided that he would find a way to tap into an artistic side and that's where we are today.
James grew up in a small Texas town. Like any other young man, he played sports and went to high school, but never really knew what he wanted out of life. He had a couple of jobs after school, but nothing that was too satisfying. At the age of 20 he joined the Navy where he found some sense of purpose. He met his wife of 17 years and had two daughters. It was in the Navy that he realized that Graphic Design was a passion and started pursuing a degree from Southern New Hampshire University. His experiences and travels have opened his mind to a whole new world of graphic possibilities.
