| Namaz-e- hajat (fulfilment of desires) It has been quoted by Hazrat Abdullah Awfa (R.A.) that the holy prophet (S.A.W), "The man who desires anything from Allah or from any other man, weather it may be religious or worldly, then first he should perform wuzoo and offer two rakats. Then he should describe the greatness of Allah and send salawaat (durood-e-shareef) on the holy prophet (S.A.W) and then recite the following duaa:- "Laa-ilaaha-illallahul-haleemul-kareem, Subhaa-nallahi-rabbil-arshil-azeem-alhamdu-lillahe-rabil-aalameen. As-aluka-mujeebatti-rahmatika-wa-azaa-im-maghfera-tika-wal-ghanee-mat-min-kulle-baryniv-was-salaamat-min-kulle-ismin-laa-tad-ooli-zamban-illa-Ghafer-tahu-walaa-hammam-illa-farrajtuhu-wa-laa-hajatan-laka-feeh-ridan-illa-qadaitahaa-yaa-arhamar-raahe-meen". Other useful duas: Duas before studying. Allahumma infa�ni bimaa allamtani wa allimni maa yanfa-uni. (Oh Allah! Make useful for me what you have taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me) Allahumma inni as�aluka fahman-nabiyyeen wa hifzlmusaleenal-muqarrabeen. (Oh Allah! I ask you for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messengers and those nearest to you.) Allahummaj-al lisaanee aamiran bizikrika wa qalbee bikhash yatika. (Oh Allah!Make my tongue full of your remembrance and my heart with consciousness of you.) Innaka alaa maa-tashaa-�u qadeer wa antha-husbunal laahu wa ni�mal wakeel. (Oh Allah! You do whatever you wish and you are my avalier and protecter and the best of aid.) Dua while studying something difficult Allahumma laa sahla illaa maa ja-altahu sahla wa anta taj-alul hazna izaa shi�ta sahla (Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what you have made easy. You can make the difficult easy) Dua after studying Allahumma inni astao-deeuka maa qara�tu wa maa hafaztu farad-duhu �allayya inda haajatee ilayhi innaka maa tashaa-u qadeer wa anti hasbiya wa ni�mal wakeel. (Oh Allah! Ientrust you with what I have read and studied. (Oh Allah!) Bring it back to me when I am in need of it. (Oh Allah!) You do whatever you wish and you are my Availer and protector and the best of aid) |
