My "real" name is Jenny, I chose the Craft name Gywnwhyfar because it is another form of my given name in the Celtic/Welsh language and it seems to fit me. I am an eclectic Witch with interests in Celtic, Germanic, and Native American (Cherokee) spirituality to which I owe my heritage.
I've just moved to the West side of Cincinnati, Ohio. I have a huge family that I am quite close to. I love animals and nature. I like to take good care of myself -mind, body& spirit- through meditation, physical fitness, good nutrition, and through magickal workings as well. I believe true happiness and contentment with life comes from within ourselves and it's a good thing to learn various methods to be able to tap into our inner-selves or subconcious. Whether that be through meditation, magick, prayer or (I prefer) a combination of all.
I am part of a group of friends who come from various walks of life, the majority of us are solitary pagans from various paths or traditions. The founding members of the group dubbed themselves "The Brotherhood of Aargh" which started out as a joke while some of us were intoxicated ;) but has actually evolved into a real group or circle of pagans that are starting to be recognized by our local (Cincinnati area) pagan community. Most of us are also members of PCCO (Pagan Community Council of Ohio) a non-profit corporation that sponsors activities and events for the Pagan community. Most of the events correspond with the Pagan holidays throughout the year and you can count on The Brotherhood being represented at just about every event. |
