BAe 125 CC3

The BAe125 carries five or six passengers and is crewed by two pilots and carries a steward/stewardess when required. The first four of these VIP aircraft, HS125 CCls were delivered from April 1971 as Series 400Bs powered by AS Viper 601 turbojets. Two further CCls were delivered in 1972, and two improved CC2s (Series 600) in April 1973. These were all subsequently re-engined with Garrett turbofans. Six more BAe 125 CC3s (Series 700) joined No 32 Squadron in 1982-83 and it is these aircraft that remain in service today. The BAe 125 CC3 can maintain a cruising speed of between 360 and 420kt at an altitude of up to 41,000ft over a still air range of 2,000 miles.
