McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet

The CF-18 is a twin engine supersonic jet tactical fighter. The four operational CF-18 fighter squadrons (15 aircraft each) are assigned the air defence role in North America. They maintain limited air-to-surface capability to provide support to maritime operations, as well as support to land operations in defence of Canada. Two fo these squadrons are also available for contingency operations anywhere in the world.
