- Wufei: Year of the Dragon -
*This collection of Zodiac information is an excerpt from the "LITTLE GIANT ENCYCLOPEDIA of the ZODIAC" by The Diagram Group. Ergo, I didn't write this stuff, folks!

Note: Wufei's Zodiac, the Dragon(there's a surprise), is as follows:

History: The dragon is the only mythical animal in the Chinese Zodiac. In China, dragons are associated with strength, health, harmony, and good luck; they are placed above doors or on the tops of roofs to banish demons and evil spirits.

Personality: Dragons have magnetic, persuasive personalities and are capable of great success or spectacular failure.Normally, whatever they set their hearts on doing, they do well; the secret is their great faith in themselves. on the negative side, dragons are renowned for not finishing what they start. The frank and open way in which they approach people and situations can be disconcerning; but their innate sincerity and enthusiasum make up for this.

Secret Dragon: Despite their impressive appearence, deep down dragons are dissatisfied and discontent. The dragons tireless search for excitement is not always fruitful. They need to be embarking on some new project, campaign, or love affair to feel truly alive. (Or the battlefield, perhaps? Remember, that's one of the reasons why he joined the Mariemaia Army - to feel truly alive in the battlefield!) Inevitably, depression caused by the unavoidable daily routine will get most dragons down at some time.

Element:Dragon is linked to the ancient chinese element of wood. Wood is an ambivalent element. As a crutch it lends support; as a spear it can be used as a weapon. Consequently, dragons are full of both positive and negative energies that will surface in, for example, stong emotions. For instance, emotionally, wood is associated with both kindness and anger. Wood is also responsible for growth and reneal, so dragons tend to be creative people.

     Good Friends for Dragon
The listed friends show the compatibility of dragon with other animals. There is no fixed ruling, however, because there are other influences on both the dog and any potential friend. These influences are: the inner companion in life, and the dominant element.(The listed friends for dog are all based on the other zodiacs of the pilots... don't ask if you don't know why. Also, the "+'s" are supposed to mean FRIEND, however, this book does not specify if the listed are just good friends or good friends...)

Dog and Dragon (1+5): The intelluctual but cynical dog will deflate a dragon's self-confidence. Dogs are able to see the dragon's image for the mirage it is - they are unable to admire a dragon.

Horse and Dragon (2+5): Enthusiastic horse and energetic dragon can do well together if they share a common purpose and dragon does not incade horse's privacy too much. Self-preoccupied horses are not able to give dragons the attention they crave.

Rabbit and Dragon (3+5): Ulikely to get along, dragons annoy rabbits with their madcap, untidy natures. A compromise could be acheived if both have their own space. Rabbits can teach dragons tact.

Ox and Dragon (4+5): Any relationship between these two will not be long-lived. Ox enjoys daily routine; dragon is always trying to escape from it. If they can compromise, both could gain something positive from the experience.

Dragon and Dragon (Meiran+5): Two dragons could make a glittering partnership, although each of them may actually be more in love with themselves as a couple than with their partner as an individual. But dragons have to feel needed, and this cannot be satisfied by another equally demanding dragon.

Love
*This section is very shakey, as no one really knows how this stuff works as far as the pilots are concerned. Therefore, nothing is underlined to show association with the Dragon sign and Duo.

Dragon in Love: Dragons are never short of admirers and never suffer from unrequited love. They are passionate but never blinded by this. Dragons are very self-reliant and know that they could live without their partner. Although they are often loved, dragons fall in love rarely. Once in love, dragons are very loyal and loving. In fact, their partners are put on pedestals. If a dragon discovers his or her partner is unworthy of their devotion, the dragon will be hurt and soon end the relationship. Otherwise, it is difficult to beak a dragon's heart because first you have to damage their invulnerable egos.

Dragon and Sex: Sex is very important for dragons. They often embark on amorous adventures adventures at an early age and see sexual expression as the key to their personal freedom. This is not necessarily a good thing for dragon partners because dragons have a tendency to view their lovers as instruments to bring about their great escapeand not as individuals. Nevertheless, whatever dragons do, they perform well. They are not selfish or unimaginative lovers, just a bit impersonal maybe. Dragons in love will lavish affection on their partner and will do anything to please them.

The Dragon Years and Their Elements
The dragon is a yang wood animal. Each of the dragon years, however, is associated with an element which is said to have its own influence. These elements are wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.

Wufei is a Wood-Fire dragon: Potentially a highly combustible combination of fire and wood, fire dragons are actually warmhearted and honest. They are temperamental and have no patience at all. Ambitious and proud, fire dragons tend to be authoritarian. They are perfectionists and will be highly critical is someone does not have the same standards or even opinions as they. All dragons are charismatic, fire dragons are inspirational - many are famous or infamous people.
