I hate it when this happens... -_-

      Alright, get this. I had this Target gift card, right? Well, I went to go use it of course! I knew they had some PS2 games I wanted to look at, as well as a few minor pieces of GW merchandise(trading cards mostly). Anyway, the PS2 games were too much. Drat. So I'll just blow my card on a bunch of GW cards(I can't play the game, so I just look at the cards and say "ohh! pretty!" ^_^)... and maybe a CD, when what do I spy? A pile, literally, of GW models. OH! The poor things!! And since I'm the ultimate neat freak when it comes to anything anime, I started restacking all the boxes in a nice orderly fashion. As I was doing this, I noticed the numbers on each ofthe model boxes. This is where it gets bad. As if some stupid teenage clerk messed up the pile in the first place was bad enough, the actual boxes were labled incorrectly!! Like this:

Wing = 01
Deathscythe = 03
Heavyarms = 04
Sandrock = 05
Shenlong = 02

      Needless to say, I was quite pissed off. I know dubbers can get pretty messy sometimes, but dammit! If you can't even get the NUMBERS right on the stupid boxes, what good are you to humanity!? ARGH!

      Sigh... the only thing that kept me from throwing a fit of various Japanese swears in front of this little kid looking at DBZ models(bleh) was my miraculous find of a Japanese GW model box. All the bold lettering on the front and everywhere else was in lovely ideograms! Quite a treasure! Now, all my models have english bold letters, though they're much nicer than the damn screwed up Target ones. I had seen original boxes online, but never actually beheld one before then(pity my past self). I clutched the thing to my chest and hurried out of the aisle(after finishing my restacking) towards the check-out counters. The thing was BARELY 6 bucks. Not bad. o.o; But anyway... had the box been 15 dollars, I'd have still paid for it with cheer.

      The box, unopened and still in lovely plastic, sits atop my stack of english models in my dust-free closet - happily surveying the rest with quiet dignity. And to this day, everytime I got to Target or Walmart(they're worse!), I go the aisle with Japanese toys on it and happily restack the Gundam model boxes in perfect order. Ahh... I love happy endings of this sort... don't you? ^_^
