- Dream Analysis -
I certainly have a lot of freetime, ne? ^_^ Well, to go along with the Dream Journal, I set up this "Dream Analyzer". Ever had a dream about Duo and wanted to know why? How about Heero? Were you unfortunate enough to dream about Relena? Get help on how to analyze your GW dreams here.

Some of these interpretations were made with help from "The Little Giant Encyclopedia of Dream Symbols" by Klaus Vollmar. However, a lot of this is also my own philosophy. Ergo, don't steal my words. ^__^ Have a request or anything to add? Please submit it.

01 - Heero
[ If Heero's in your dream... ]

It means that something new and important is announced. Heero can also point to the shadow (the stranger within), rejected or unknown characteristcs in yourself that you don't want to see. You are beginning to become concienciously aware of your "darker side". Like Heero, you are in the process of becoming aware of your true Self and potential. Seeing Heero in a dream could also mean that you're not "putting your heart" into your work. You're just doing what needs to be done. Lastly, seeing the pilot of 01 in a dream can symbolize hope. Remember, throughout the series, Heero had to carry the hopes of many people on his shoulders (not excluding the other pilots). Are you counting on someone else?
    [ Heero symbolizes Metal/Iron ]
Stability, willpower, resilience, hardness, and coldness. Also symbolizes "iron in the fire," which points to vitality and transformation. Folklore: Difficulties.

02 - Duo
[ If Duo's in your dream... ]

It means that you're having contradictory thoughts and feelings within yourself. You're beginning to feel your dark side and covering it up with your light side. Notice Duo does this a lot. Seeing Duo in a dream can also symbolize endurance in your life. I think that out of all the pilots, Duo's had to go through the most in his childhood. But despite all that, he still keeps smiling. Duo means "never giving up" and always putting your heart into whatever you do. This obviously contradicts Heero in many ways. The pilot of 02 in a dream can also mean that you're feeling a bit "immortal". Nothing can hurt you, nothing can stop you, and nothing can stand in your way. Feeling competitive? Oh, and one more thing... DUO IN A DREAM DOES NOT SYMBOLIZE DEATH! e__e
    [ Duo symbolizes Fire ]
Usually dreamt of when fearing or yearning for inner fire or passion. Folklore: Over-protection.

03 - Trowa
[ If Trowa's in your dream... ]

It means that you're hiding something; secrets. It may be something painful, or it may be something important. Either way, it's being hidden from someone for a good purpose. However, not all secrets will stay secrets - watch what your say around people. Trowa also means being protective and nurturing. Trowa takes care of every pilot ('cept Duo) in the series. You feel the need to give. Trowa also stands for lying, as in "living a lie". Are you not being true to yourself about something? Lastly, Trowa means patience and a noble mind.
    [ Trowa symbolizes Wood/Forest ]
A frequent dream symbol of the unconscious. Walking the forbidden path in the forest might cause us to be swallowed up and swept away by drives and instincts. It is a place of transition. On the other hand, this symbol indicates the attempt to make contact with the unconcious. Folklore: Mysteriousness.

04 - Quatre
[ If Quatre's in your dream... ]

It means understanding and harmony. You are open-minded and hard-working. However, it also means you're gullible. Be careful of people trying to take advantage of you. Seeing Quatre in a dream also means that you need to relax - is there an upcoming test or something you've been stressing out over? If so, try to slow things down a bit, otherwise all that stress might come out in a negative way... kind of like how Quatre went nuts in that one episode. ^^ Quatre symbolizes safety and feeling safe. He also symbolizes family. To a small extent, he symbolizes disappointment, as in "disappointing your elders". Your peers and family might not fully understand your goals and objectives and may even criticize you for it. Quatre ignores the pacifist teachings of his father to fight in the war, thereby disinheriting himself as an ideal Winner heir. However, he did this to protect his family from the horrors of war. This shows sacrifice. Are you in a situation where you might have to sacrifice something for the good of something else? As far as I'm concerned, Quatre symbolizes acceptance and "embracing your beliefs". Dreaming of Quatre DOES NOT mean you're going to go crazy, either.
    [ Quatre symbolizes Water ]
Water is connected to feelings; it represents the wild nature of the soul in need of being concquered (controlling your emotions). Diving into water means to seek wisdom. Folklore: Wisdom.

05 - Wufei
[ If Wufei's in your dream... ]

It means striving towards something; you're trying to reach a goal. Wu-chan in a dream also means that you're keeping to yourself too much. Get social. Because Wu-chan is often a well known symbol of justice (Woo, Justice Boy!), it may play a part in your dream. Are you feeling guilty, or do you know of someone who's guilty? Justice can't sleep forever. Seeing the pilot of 05 in your dream may mean that you know something everyone else doesn't. Also, Wu in a dream means victory. He symbolizes being "true to yourself" and your own sense of "integrity". He also symbolizes "giving it your all" and being an honorable person. However, honor, unless very strong, can be easily corrupted. Be wise to your actions and decisions. Wu might also mean that you have a lot of emotions pent up inside you that need to be vented. He symbolizes intellect and the ability to be taught.
    [ Wufei symbolizes Rock/Mountain ]
Protection and coscienciousness. Overveiw, standing above a given situation.A difficult time in life's journey is beginning. Romantic notion about nature and solitude, flight from the city and culture. Folklore:A difficult journey ahead.

[ That's all for the dream bios now. If you don't see your favorite charrie or whatever listed, then contact me and I'll get right to it. ^^ ]

I understand that in dreams where the GW charries are involved, there are also certain dream elements that go along with it all. They're listed and explained below.

Rain
A popular dream element when it comes to GW charries. Rain often symbolizes a longing for deep relaxation and peaceful living.

Meadow
A large meadow points to growth and joy. The condition of the meadow is important.

Laughing/ Laughter
Usually seen in a very difficult situation, where laughing is the last thing that you'd like to do. Laughing is a form of relaxation. Sometimes it is also an expression of the search for freedom and emotional peace.

Twilight
Romance, a transitional period. One is standing between two worlds and is not quite sure. Twilight indicates a moment of transition, in which everything seems undefined and undecided. Dusk is connected to fears, but in part it is also a symbol for new beginnings, curiosity, and openness. Morning sunrise and everning sunset are times of pleasure.

Black
A symbol of emotional strangulation or a depiction of the unconscious or the unknown. Greif and death, btu also magical power or fertility.

Bleeding
Life, passion, courage, or disappointment. Also giving in and going with the flow, as in all water symbols. Injury or shock. The secret of life. Is the bleeding accompanied by pain?

Blue
Points to faithfulness and deep emotions, also the desire for relaxation. It is the symbolic color of the soul, since blue also symbolizes the depth of the sea and the expanse of the sky. It also stands for the unconscious, as well as isolation, expanse, and infinity. It stands for pure, clear, distand mountains, and sky.

Scythe
Ability to achieve.

Boat/ Ship
If you are in the boat yourself, you need to rethink the direction you're taking. A distancing from emotions: you are not in touch with the water. Also, if the ship is far in the distance, a longing for femininity. Different types of ships characterize your personality.

Snow/ Snowing
Emotional coldness, feeling of security, but also punishment. White also symbolizes the leaf of innocence. Customary and sharp distincitions lose their significance; the snow turns everything soft and white. In that sense it points to liberation from conventional attitudes and to a new orientation.

Star
The inner core, the image of guidance and hope. In dreams and fairy tales, this symbol is always connected to the fate of the hero (he was "born under a good/bad star").

Comet/ Shooting Star
Special event; this imagealways points to character. The comet may also point to advancement.

Braid
A connection of the threads of life, meaning different situations and personal characteristics are combined.

Night
The unconscious and unknown - the other world.
