Gilbert and Josiah went by the Pasco airport where the Collings Foundation (www.collingsfoundation.org) brought their "Wings of Freedom" tour with a B-17, B-24, B-25, and P-51 trainer. We got to hear the low rumble that contrasts with the high-revving commercial turboprops that normally occupy the airspace there. Just like seeing how small something like the Mayflower was compared to its three-masted sailing descendents such as the Constitution or the Cutty Sark, one is also struck by how modest the "heavies" size is seeing them outdoors, compared to even a small airliner. Not to mention how difficult they must have been to hit from a moving airplane or a Flak gun four miles below.
On the way out, Josiah spotted another vehicle, an Aston Martin Vantage with plates DB7 (Gilbert at first thought it said 007). It did have left-hand drive, though, so Mr. Bond probably was nowhere to be found.
