GTC members range in age from 17-70+ years of age and include several former national champions.� The nearly 200 members come from all over northern and eastern metro Atlanta and include current and former racers, brevet participants, and anyone who enjoys riding their bike.�
Most rides take place on very low traffic roads in Gwinnett, Walton, Barrow and Jackson counties and vary anywhere from 20-85 miles in length.� The pace of rides varies between 13-23+ mph depending upon the particular event.� The length and expected pace of all rides are listed in the ride announcement.� Rides are scheduled throughout the year with Tuesday and Thursday evening training rides (18-23+ mph) scheduled during daylight savings time.
