Hung Fut Kung Fu Canada
This is the oldest Kung Fu club in Victoria, over 27 years here on Vancouver Island. The type of kung fu taught here is Hung Fut, by Wong Sifu.

Sheung Wong has been teaching in Victoria since 1978. The style has been passed down from father to son for at least 3 generations. This type of kung fu is a combination of
Hung Gar and Fut Gar. A traditional and rare style. The training is very rigorous and hard. Basics, meaning stances and hand techniques are practiced every class. Make no mistake this is not a school, but a nonprofit club. This club has survived all these years by being non-tournament and non-ranking. Teaching only forms and very importantly applications. Like all kung fu clubs Lion Dancing is also done here with an outdoor  demonstration at least once a year.

Numerous weapons and higher hand forms are taught after the basics have been learnt. Staff, swords, spears, and tiger hooks to name a few. Pole arms like kwan do, fork, and double ended spear. Bag work including  speed, finger and cement  bags. Drop by to check it out.
Very traditional style of training. If you're looking for flash and high kicks you come to the wrong club.
