Denise said,

"I don't know what to say, it looks like we are finished. Unless anyone else has an idea." She looked at the other two, but could see they did not have any ideas either. She looked up into the air in exasperation and thought she would never see her daughter again. Then the computer said,

"One minute," then all of a sudden there was a large explosion on the holographic map. Denise demanded,

"What was that?"

"The missile that was homing in on the satellite was just destroyed."The three of them then snapped into action. Denise said,

"Pogo get a lock on that missile, and Connor you be ready to fire because we will probably only have one chance to take this one out." She then gave each of them a smile, it said to them that they were going to be alright. Pogo broke this thought by saying,

"Fire," and they could see the laser from the satellite hit the missile on the hologram map. It must have been a lot closer then they had thought because the shock wave shook the building they were in. They then quickly took out the second missile. They took a second to congratulate each other, with a cheer and patting on their backs.

Denise then moved the satellite towards Emperor Grackus's compound. They had to take it out before it could attack again. She noticed another satellite moving and said,

"Computer why is that other satellite moving?"

"Unknown, it is being controlled from outside of this complex."

"Where is it being controlled from?"

"From the Medical complex." Denise hoped that it was Yalp, and the others trying to help them, but she did not have time to dwell on the whole thing.

At that moment an energy beam just missed their satellite. She said,

"Pogo get into my head again we are going to have to do some fancy flying to get past the Emperors defenses." The next thing she knew there were two minds in her head it was a very weird felling, but she did not have time to think on it. There was more then one ground weapon and they were all aiming at their satellite. She knew from the mind link that Pogo needed a couple of more minutes to get a good lock. She said,

"Computer can you give me an image as if we are looking from the satellite?" At that the image changed and they were liking down at the surface of the planet. There were a number of blasts of energy heading right for the satellite. Denise maneuvered the satellite to the right, then left, then up, then up again, all the while streaks of red, yellow and blue energy flashed past it. They were missing only by a split second each time. It was getting harder and harder for Denise to fly around all this, but she knew Pogo still needed time. She was not sure they had enough time to get it all done.

Then there was a rain of laser and particle beams rays down onto the Emperors compound. It was the other satellite, it had moved in while they had been taking all the ground fire. At that moment Pogo said,

"Fire!" and Connor hit the fire button. He let lose with everything the satellite had. The ground shook when the fire power from the two satellite came to bare on the Emperors compound. The ground fire continued but it slowly lessened, as the satellites pounded the area. The second satellite exploded but by this time the ground fire was all but gone. The remaining satellite took no time at all to finish off any return fire. When they felt they had destroyed the complex they zoomed in for a look. There was no sign of life, not that cyborgs are much of a life form.

The complex was now just a big hole in the ground, and there was destruction all around. They then checked the whole area with every sensor that the satellite had to see if there was any life signs. The area looked completely dead, there were no life signs or any energy readings. Pogo said,

"I think we got it," but he did not sound completely convinced. Denise looked at the other two and said,

"Lets go back to the hospital and see if Vergus can tell us anything." They walked out of the armory and the smoke and dust had them at once coughing and there eyes watering. The whole area was covered in smoke and soot. It seems all their shots were not on target, there were crates as close as a hundred meters to the armory. Pogo looked at them with a little smile on his face and said,

"There were multitudes of adjustments, but I always thought we were locked when we fired. I hope we did not hit the hospital."

They all thought of their comrades and started to run. They were running so fast and with such focus that they ran right into two Cyborgs. They turned to each other in shock and one said,

"I told you I heard something." The other answered,

"Get your gun out we don't know who they are." The first one then pulled and pointed his black laser and pointed at the group. The other already had his gun out and pointed at the group. Denise looked at them and thought they look different somehow. They seem more normal, not like the human robots that were controlled by the Emperor. Denise said,

"Who are you?" The first one looked at the second with a confused look, then he said,

"My name is Finster and this is my partner Grady, And the last thing I really remember is when we were in the Silver Comet Casino. You know the one in Port Royal. We had just won enough to keep our business afloat for the next year or so. They about 10 minutes ago we woke up here, in the middle of a deserted city that does not look human." Then Grady says,

"Yah, and we now have all of these cybernetics, are you going to tell us what is going on?" Denise looked at Pogo and he nodded yes. Then she said,

"You gentlemen have been kidnaped. You are now about a thousand light years from Penates. The Jamacian Syndicate found a worn hole generator that connects the two planets. The reason you do not remember anything is because one of the implants you got was a mind control device."She looks them right in the eyes to see if they understood what she just told them. By the two angry looks on the faces of the two she knows that they do. Finster said,

"How do we get back to Penates? I want to settle the score with the Syndicate." Denise said,

"We can take you back, but we have a few things we have to do first. Right now we have to meet up with the rest of our group."

The two cyborgs look at each other and Finster says,

"We will come with you as long as you take us back to Penates." Denise looked at Pogo, he smiled and nodded yes. Denise said,

"All right then, we will take you back with us." Then they started on their way to the hospital again. When they cleared the brush and saw it was still there a collective sigh went throught the group.
