Chapter Fifty Two

They were given priority docking privileges. Once they were docked and the door was open, there stood two Concord Marines. They said,

"We are to escort you right to the Magistrate." They followed the Marines and were escorted right to the top floor of the Lighthouse. At the Magistrates office they were escorted right in. They could not believe the view, behind the desk was a great big window looking out over the solar system. There was also a out line of a man sitting behind the desk. He got up and said,

"Lights," and walked out from behind the desk. He signaled them to sit down. They all did except for Denise, and she gave a report that covered most of the major points. She did not get into any technical knowledge they had acquired over the mission. When she had finished the Magistrate said,

"Thank you very much. We could not have handled two wars in the Verge right now. For your help I have arranged for your transportation back to earth, and also a monitory reward. I would also like you to think about working for me here. I could base you out of any planet in the Verge."

The group just looked at each other.
