Jen Fur was a guild on the planet High Mojave in the dying system of Mantebron. This is one of the loneliest place in known space, it is similar to are own planet Mars. Though it's atmosphere is unbreathable and the temperatures are unbearably cold it is still enough like earth to attract a few especially tough settlers.These settlers had it very tough during the great silence, they had to be the most resourceful to keep themselves alive, and they did. When the Galactic War was over and the Monitor came into the Verge, The Orion League reestablish relationships with the Mantebron system and found to there surprise that the planet now had something of value, or at least potential value. On High Mojave the residents had found ruins of an ancient civilization.
The Precursors as all the ancient races have been labeled, lived on High Mojave during it's time of earth like conditions, some where around one hundred million years ago. The Precursor's of High Mojave have been given the name of The Glassmakers. This is because their technology shows a high level of silicon based technology and very little Metallurgy. This has caused a bit of a boom on High Mojave as there are hundreds of xenoarcheologists on the planet trying to find out all they can about the Glassmakers.
This brings us back to Jen Fur who is one of those who has taken advantage of all these educated men and women coming to High Mojave. Her outpost was the closest landing site to one of the more mysterious Glassmakers site. She has as such become a guild and supplier for these groups going out to the site. She has explored the site extensively and only found one interesting thing.
One day while exploring the ruins site she came across what looked like a hat, not thinking about it she put it on. She did not think anything really happened, until she went home. That night she was going into town and so she was getting cleaned up. Looking into the mirror she wondered how she would look with red hair. Then before she could look away her hair changed to the exact color of red she had been thinking of. It scared her so much that she let out a little scream and her hair changed back. She quickly calmed down and thought that her lips were to fat and she would like them thinner. By the time she lifted her eyes up to look in the mirror her lips were just as she had pictured them. She then thought them back to normal, it took a little longer but they went back to normal. Over the next couple of weeks Jen found the strengths and weaknesses to her new found ability. She also figured out if had come from the hat she had put on at The Glassmakers Ruins.
She tried to figure out what she could do with her knew found abilities but all she came up with were uses for evil, so she decided to just keep them hidden. Also she went back and got the hat thing that had done this to her and hide it at her outpost. Then she just used it for fun, little things like changing her hair color or it's style, but never anything that would hide who she really was.
As you can see things were going pretty good for her. That is until she took out one group of xenoarcheologists.
