4/15/03: Happy Birthday GWF!!!!!!!! Future vs. New Revolution.....
WHAT IN THE BLUE HELL IS THIS? THE GWF HAS SURVIVED A WHOLE YEAR!
Yes it is true, one year ago myself(RVD) was bored one night during Spring break and I decided to make something to pass the time. Thus the GWF was born over at GameFAQs. It was only a couple of weeks until we had our first show on April 23rd. The show were RVD turned on FDCM in a Handicap Match then the Pottdoggz and RVD began their rule in the GWF. It wasnt long before May 18th came about and Retribution was named and then happened. The HaRdCoRe Tag Title Tournament was enough to make the show gold, then we also had more matches. With Diablos' debute as TFX and Blaze's Bodyguard against Canik.....the whole thing was all set and we knew then that there would be a Retribution 2. Now one year to the day later the GWF is still alive and kicking, despite many attempts from other e-feds to put us away. WWWF and CAW were the two biggest threats and thats not saying much. Wasted was the closest one to killing the GWF but lookie here. WE STILL ARE ALIVE! So to all who made this place work ad run cleanly for a whole year you all deserve something big. And on Retribution 2 we will show what everyone why we have stayed running a whole year. Now to bid you all adieu....but before I go....(raises glass of wine in air)Now heres a toast.....This if for one spectacular year, and heres to another! NOW TO ALL A GOOD LATERNESS!
The Future who has lost all but one of the original members(RVD of course) has gotten Diablos, Jonny Myzery and Sin to all join and now they seemed to be totally out of control....but The Revolution(Psychos and Loco) joined up with the New Blood and now they have been putting a dent in RVDs plans. With a PPV aptly named GlobalIMPACT coming. This could be one hell of a show.
Another note with the huge fued going on is that most of the champs who are in the New Revolution will be facing the top contenders in the Future. The PPV will be insane.
Well after months of being fired. Then months of being stuck in lower to midcard hell. It finally happened. A champion to replace Pottski, but this one isnt someone to be taken lightly for only one man fits the above description.....FLYING DIAMOND CUTTER MAN! For those of you who havent noticed FDCM finally beat Pottski on a Smackdown nonetheless for the World title. Now we get to see FDCMs full potential because technically he never lost the title way back in the summer. But a new challenger has stepped forward.....FDCMs own flesh and blood, his cousin, Jonny Myzery. Jonny is legally insane and FDCM is a laid back son of a gun. No one knows what this situation will form into. But we will see in weeks to come.
Finally a bit of news from last month....Catagories of the GWF's first year are being set already for voting to to take place in May around Retribution. Best Fued, Best RP, Match of the Year, PPV of the year, and a couple other smaller catagories are beginning to be set. Current entries are:
Best Fued: Max and Shawn Aldrin(Jan-March), Bad Newz and Pottski(June-August 2002), Gold Psycho and Loco Leche(Summer of 2002), FDCM and RVD(Summer of 2002)Canik and Diablos(Spring-Summer of 2002)
Best Single RP: Jonny Myzery, Max Cregde, Shawn Aldrin, FDCM, Diablos, and Gold Psycho
