| Treize's loyal aide and agent, Lady Une eagerly attends to her master's every need, from drawing his bath to assassinating his enemies. She is as cruel and merciless to her enemies as she is devoted to Treize, and her zealous suppression of Eastern European rebels has earned her the nickname "Fiery Une." On occasion, her enthusiasm earns her gentle rebukes from the more chivalrous Treize. Later in the story, another side of Lady's personality is revealed. Taking off her glasses and letting down her hair, she becomes OZ's saintly ambassador to the space colonies, bringing a message of peace, love, and strength through armed self-defense. This gentle persona isn't just a pose, but a genuine split personality; in effect there are two Lady Unes, one as sweet and meek as the other is venomous and cruel. Endless Waltz By Endless Waltz the OZ officer once dreaded as the bloodthirsty "Fiery Une," and revered as a living saint by the gullible space colonies, has at last reconciled the two sides of her split personality.
