Dorothy is not only Duke Dermail's granddaughter, but also the daughter of the late General Catalonia, who was Treize's predecessor as leader of OZ. When Relena revives the Sanc Kingdom and founds a school where she can teach her pacifist philosophies, Dorothy enrolls as an exchange student from the Romefeller Foundation. Here she quickly establishes herelf as the anti-Relena, countering the young queen's optimistic teachings with the cynical view that, deep down, people love war and will never embrace peace. Dorothy also passes her time spying for the Romefeller Foundation and stalking Heero.
As the chaotic political landscape continues to mutate, Dorothy decides that her pro-war philosophy supercedes family loyalty. Signing up with the resistance group White Fang, she continues to encourage strife and sow the seeds of discord, though her reasons for doing so may not be what they first appear...
Endless Waltz
Dorothy, the former nemesis of Relena and the Gundam pilots, reappears in Endless Waltz to lend them some moral support. Hewing to her original philosophy that true peace will only be possible when the masses of humanity genuinely desire it, she pops up in war-torn Brussels and urges the cowering civilians to take matters into their own hands. Dorothy's pro-peace mob compellingly demonstrates the popular resistance to the Mariemaia Army's violent power grab, and reassures Chang Wufei that warriors like him aren't required to shoulder the entire burden of upholding the peace. |
