Mothers & More is a non-profit
organization dedicated to improving
the lives of mothers through support,
education and advocacy. We address
mothers� needs as individuals and
members of society, and promote the
value of all the work mothers do.
Bi-Monthly Meetings
We meet the 1st� & 3rd Tuesdays of each month at a church in Pompton Plains.�� We try to address parenting, women's and sequencing issues, as well as just have fun.�� Some meetings are member led discussions.; For others, we invite guest speakers in.�� We've had speakers on car seat safety, yoga &� relaxation, infant & child CPR, baby safety, self defense....
Some member lead discussions have been:� Coping with Holiday Stress, Money Saving Tips, Organization Skills, Juggling Work & Family, and some purely social meetings like recipe exchanges, swap meets, desert challenges and ice cream socials, Holiday Party and Cookie Exchange.
Mom's Nights Out
Approximately every month, we organize a Mom's Night Out.� Our past Mom's Nights Out have been: Spa Night, Bowling, Country Line Dancing, Dinner Out, Comedy Club
Seasoned Moms
Seasoned Moms� discusses issues related to raising older children such as allowances, sibling rivalry, parent/student/teacher relations, crafts and birthday parties for older kids, etc. All are welcome to come and join in on the discussions. The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Scrap Book Club
Scrap Booking is a way to make your photographs tell a story and create some beautiful memories for years to come.�� Of course, it's hard to get pictures in a scrap book when our children are demanding our attention.� The scrap book club offers several opportunities a month to preserve those times in our lives that were special enough to be photographed.
Book Club
Our Book Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month.�� We usually alternate between meeting at member's homes or local coffee shops.�� The book club is open to all members.�� The book of the month is published in the newsletter.�� You can choose to participate on a book by book basis.� Click here to see a list of upcoming books.
Cooking Club
Our Cooking Club meets once a month.� We will alternate between member's homes.� The club is open to all members.� We have meal swap nights, tasting nights, recipe swaps, etc.
