We stand for increasing the political participation of citizens through means beyond voting
We are against public mis-education, manipulation or the spinning, selective truth that occurs in politics.
We, therefore, are for the fostering of independent news through different types of media, and quality, well-researched and well rounded journalism.
We stand for creative visionary politics and do not subscribe to the politics of fear, and numerous 'against' campaigns.
We stand for an increase in political decisions (both financially and through implementation) made through the municipal and local level in certain areas.
We stand for empowering democratic social movements, not hijacking them, and therefore are against collusion with other grassroots and non-governmental organizations.
We stand for policies that promote: sustainable environmental use and/or protection, sustainable and small business development, the GVRD's native and immigration communities economic and cultural independence, women's independence from violent and economic abuse, sexual diversity and fun.
