Ray has had an explosive month of september as the king of NAWA and his new gold he received in NWA-Wildside as he became the new JR. Heavy Champ. Ray beat five other wildside competitors in a 6-way double elimination, including Salvatore Rinauro, Matt Sydal, Delirious, Altar boy Luke, and defending champion Seth Delay. Gordy pinned Sydal with a tiger suplex to win the title in only his fourth appearance in a Wildside ring. Ray sucessfully defended his new crown against former champion Seth Delay at his next Wildside appearance to disprove any dispute over the 6-man finish. Ray also defeated NAWA Jr. Heavyweight champion Chris Kamikaze in september. Ray's only loss was to NWA world champion A.J. Styles, not bad. Ray's lethal use of his Tiger Suplex has cemented him as a serious threat to any title in Georgia.
