Chris Stevens has long been thought of as the workhorse of GCW. He was a guy that was "almost" at the top of the ladder. He has been praised by many as the most under rated wrestler on the Indy scene. In the month of August Chris has finally climbed to the top of the ladder and is fulfilling all of the praises he has been receiving in the past. The "Durham Bull" became the GCW heavyweight champion in the month of August.The big question now is can he hold onto it? He has former WWE/TNA star Johnny Swinger and former champion, TNA's David Young gunning for him. |
