History:
Palmateer watershed includes two separate creeks: Palmateer and East Creek) which each flow north to the Fraser River. Palmateer Creek was named after a pioneer family and is primarily restricted to resident Cutthroat trout, the odd Chum salmon and a variety of non-salmonid species. However East Creek (also known a Williamson�s Brook) contains Coho and Chum salmon and Cutthroat and Rainbow trout.
