America's Champion Cup tournament in Atlanta, Georgia USA
Vancouver Lightning and North Shore Eagles will be 2 of the 4 teams to represent Canada. These 2 teams will have an opportunity to be a part of international powerchair football history as the first ever club champion of FIPFA's Amercias Zone is decided. For two intense days, the attention of the global community of powerchair football will be riveted on Atlanta to see which club and which country emerges victorious. The ACC will not just crown a champion, it will promote the visibility of powerchair football throughout the competing countries, the Americas Zone and the World. Powerchair football at this level has the power to inspire development and partnerships that will lead to continued growth in opportunities for people everywhere to participate.

Congratulations Vancouver Lightning Team in placing first in the Provincials! This qualifies the Vancouver Lightning team and the North Shore Eagles team (3rd Place) to participate in the first America's Champion Cup tournament in Atlanta, Georgia USA in Oct 23-24/09 to represent 2 of 4 Canadian teams.
