Queenswood is situated in the quiet suburban area of Cliffgrove Avenue, in Chilwell, Beeston. the organisation exists to provide the highest possible standards of care within a compassionate Christian culture.
Our Project
GVC Youth have decided to make a difference by taking the opportunity to volunteer at Queenswood. The admirable dedication of the staff at Queenswoods encourages us to aid them in providing one-to-one attention for the residents. Bulding a relationship with residents on a personal level is a difficult thing to do when yuou haverestraints on time and other work responsibilities; one of the main reasons why volunteer work is so imoportant. Our purpose is to brighten their day by simply talking and listening to residents, and spendinga bit of quality time getting to know them.
