| This picture was taken in 1999, mom and dad hadn't seen each other in over 12 years. Doesn't my mom look thrilled? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This picture was taken shortly after I was born. It is one of only two pictures of my mother and father together. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| These were taken the same day as the one above, 363 days before he died. This was the one and only time he got to see his "baby boy" in my dress blues. He was so proud of me for joining the Air Force. Unfortunately, we only knew each other from about the time this picture was taken until he died. I was adopted as a child, so things were a little strained at first. As time went by, we talked on the phone all the time. He became my best friend. He went to the hospital April 17, 2002 and died May 17, 2002 with his twin sister, his son (me), his niece (his twin's daughter), his best friend for over 25 years and her boyfriend all at the side of his bed. I was holding his hand. He was buried May 20, 2002 at St Matthew's Cemetery in St Louis, Missouri. DAD YOU WILL BE MISSED! Return to Index |
