I am in the foyer of a large house. Everything is silver, monochrome, like a digitally mastered movie. There is a wide sweeping staircase. I am standing at the bottom of it, next to a table, on which there is a basin of water. I look up at the staircase- a girl is running down towards me. Instead of eyes she has gaping, bloody holes. Her blood is the only color here, a dark, metallic red. Her mouth is open wide in a silent scream. When she reaches my table at the bottom of the staircase, she plunges her head into the basin of water.
I turn away from the sight of her, but I see standing by the table another girl. She has no head, and the stump of her neck also shines with the metallic blood. I want to escape, but I can't. I'm stuck in the silver house with the bloody sisters. |
