     When I came to Ottawa, and was a class A mechanic
later I threw my liscence in the garbage, and after being
a gofor at Rankins Hardware, and ended up being a Manager in my department, I was making more money
just doing painting after my work at Rankins, so I then decided: to buy an old truck, and go into the moving bussiness, it was getting too hard with a family too work
18 hours a day, so I thought with moving people , and doing the odd house clean up. and repairing old w&b tv's and renting them out for 3 dollars a week, and playing music in a band , cause when you have only grade 5( its very difficult to fill in application's and then be hired so I did what I could
to house & feed my young family, and that was to fend for myself, and that I did, with as many trades I could conquer. Most of them just being
common sence, and if I ever dont think, I can do it ; well folks I dont do it
Then came my big break in the construction bussiness
at that time, I had a little add in the,papers
      And I get this call?! ,.The lady asked me if I would go and clean out her basement, the odd thing was! she never asked me how much do I charge,
     And then came my first customer of any significanse
little did I know the person calling was Mrs. Loeb the owners of all IGA's she was calling on behalf of her daughter, her married name was Judy Cohen,and after
finishing the work: They it continued on for the next 17
years.
         And throught Judy ,after she recommending me, although it had to be on her terms, aranged with her aunt, to have me when she didn't need me, and only for
speratic periods, but hell I didnt mind I was busy like hell.
      That lady was whom some of you will recognise Mrs.
Allen! in other words Weight Watcher's , and that lasted
16 years, I done everything for them, I even drove him in
his Cadillac on longer trips, I loved it, although I think of it now
I charged so little, but the money was not a factor, when you feel at home!
      But as time went by Mickey Cohen, Had to leave the parlements he was next too
mark Lalonde, minister of finance undre the Trudeau goverment, and when Trudeau lert.
Mr. Cohen left for Toronto,with Family,and he is president forgot what,and Judy is president of Labbatts, then dont know now, but continued on with Weight Watchers,
       Then came another little luck , Through the death of one of my best friends, I met a
Doctor Didacus Su, and did everybit of construction phase, in the building he bought in order to make different cubicles for Patients, and I add a time period of only three months to complete it,and plumbing, electrical,
all the cabinets,for each cubicle, and behold one evening, all my tools were
stolen, again. but with extremely long hours it was done!! To this day, he still calls me, when other work is too be had
         And to all of you, whom were customers one time or another, less than 5 years I offer my greatest appreciation, and also to Brian Mulvihill
and his lovely wife, so I thank you all, it was my pleasure in having you all
