       Well when I first met Mr.Crosbie I will never forget, Don and I we were going there for an estimate, so we entered the yard , and asked whom we thought he was the gardener, could you tell me if mr. Crosbie is home , the reply knocked us out , ( your looking at him )
        And being a small contractor with my Sons at the time, and a big family no money to advertise, we both went in, and looked over the blueprints.
they seemed quite big to us at that time , cause that home is all cement slab built, And then came the biggest surprise ! Don and I left with a $10,000 check
we never felt so rich, we were so happy usually we have , to nearly beg for a small start up fee, so needless to say , we treated them blueprints like gold , and
before we were going to study them, we sure stopped for a beer to celebrate!
       And for some happy reason , I might add is that we got to be , their personal Contractors for years, And ive got to admit that Mr. Crosbie, has ideas , that most customers ive know in the past , dont have, now beleive me or not even a boat house where he did not want the boat to touch the water?
      And maybe another reason, is that he did not need to subcontract anything
cause we do it all electrical,plumbing, cabinets etc
      Don and I at that time had a lot of arguments , we were trying to save the
customer money , and not go in the red, ourselves, and there was so many things , that went wrong, cause just too add a floor or whatever else we did that
building is all concrete, and after going in the red quite a bit , we explained to the boss, that TApcon fasteners just to attached the floor to the cement was costing a fortune , dont remember how much , but it was in the hundreds
       But aflter some explaining , and a highly intelligent person he is , he had no problem understanding, and that took so much pressure off us , and happy we was. Don and I were saying , what a kind honest man cause lots of them would keep you to the contract , even if you lose your shorts?AND , FORGOT TO TELL YOU, THAT MR.CROSBIE SHIP, COULD LOAD 100 HOUSE LIKE MINE IN IT: I ALSO BUILT SOME FURNITURE FOR HIS SHIP, WOW AND EVERYTHING HAD TO BE ANCHORED DOWN, ANT CEMENT FLOOR AND STEEL, UNREAL.AND THE ENGINE ROOM , YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE IT:!!
     Well could go on and on , but without Mr. Crosbie and wife , would of been a lot harder for us,and to this day every year (I keep saying well there wont be any more work for me, but behold , they always find something , and the place is just a mansion. So to them kind people we owe them a lot of thanks for
helping my family:( Because they could use huge contractors anytime) , it would be nothing to them, anyway there is so much I would like too add but ,there is not enough space or time to do it :!!!!   Thank you Mr.Mrs.Crosbie.....
