Counter-Strike, by far the best 1st person shooter ever made, in my opinion. Unfortunately, There is really no proof of Cs 2 for xbox/xbox 360 but if you find out some information put it in the cs 2 board. Pride can be dangerous, keep it under control.

Be a good sport and don't talk any trash, however lowering the other teams confidence can help. Do this by being somewhat cocky like saying how good your accuracy was or how much damage you did, lie if you have to.

Be loyal to your clan, by always training with them, never disobeying them, listen to what they say, and accept their advice in some situations. Also, always play on your clan tag, never on a solo tag unless it is for a different game.

Always talk postive about your clan, and stand up for them when other clans say they are garbage.

Always communicate with your team, and try to play with them as much as possible so you develop a bond with them. The more you know your team the better.

Having good awareness is essential to any match, spot your enemies and notify your team immediately.

Have quick reflexives. Some quick flash games can help with this, look up counter-strike lite, or camper-strike.

Stay calm, never get nervous; remember this is only a game. Also, do not get excited, and always stay focused.

Stay positive, always have faith. People that are negative always seem to lose.

Almost always mute the other team, unless you are going to kind of rub in how good you are, but be careful doing this.

Notice your teammates weaknesses when you can and tell them in a nice way so they can improve.

Never get in a fight with your clanmates, always get along with them.

Speak up if you think you have a good strategy or you notice a flaw about another strategy.

Keep an eye our for enemy spots or rushes.

Make sure you have enough ammo in your gun, and tell your team the gun you have at the beginning of the round.

If you need a gun and somebody has a lot of money ask them for a gun so you can save up money.

Also be careful buying a gun really quick in the beginning because your team might have called a save round so be careful

Use enemy guns as often as possible to confuse the opposing team.

Pick up a gun dropped by an enemy unless somebody else on your team needs it more.

When low on health and you have a good gun and your teammate has good health and no gun, give them your gun so they can shoot up your enemy. So in other words share health and weapons.

Never leave a bomb site unelss the bomb is at the other site and be careful because in some maps the bomb can easily make a u-turn and be at the other site in seconds.

When it is down to you vs 1 guy and you are a ct watching a site, move closer to the other site so you are kind of in the middle, that way you can get to the site quicker.

A good way to use normal sound like surround is to aim your gun in a direction, the louder it gets the closer your enemy is to there.

When a bomb is dropped and being guarded by enemies who are waiting for the sound of the bomb to peak out, drop your pistol so they peek out, then flash them, grab the bomb and get out fo there.

Use retreating levels to take out enemies easier

Retreating levels is when your at an area outside of a bombsite and an enemy rushes, you try to pick off 1 or 2 then pull back, closer to the bomb site, then take out 1 from there, then pull back. This works really well and keeps your team alive.

Try not to move a lot because your crosshairs spread out making your gun shoot more inaccurately.

Try to sit still or crouch so your cross hairs get closer together making your gun way more accurate.

Don't reload out in the middle of battle, pull back to a safe position, or delay your enemy and reload safely. <

People have tendency to reload right after they kill a guy, don't be one of those people, only reload if you need to.

Frag grenades can be used as scouts but it is risky. Almost always use your grenades on big groups of people, campers or just trying to confuse your enemy.

If you throw a grenade right in front of a guy and shoot them just after the grenade activates, you will confuse them and probably kill them.

When flashed by an enemy, either flash them back, aim exactly where the head would be and spray lightely or just pull back.

A flash grenade is almost useless if it doesn't hit your enemy so be careful doing it.

Flash grenades can be used for a number of things: delaying your enemy, blinding them so you can kill them, or just confusing your enemy making them think you are close to them.

Smoke grenades almost always divert an enemies attention to the spot they are activated in, use this as a distraction or for cover from enemies. This works good against snipers.

Keep an eye on the other team's money so you know what gun they are going to have the next round and prepare for it.

Never grenade or flash your own team.

Count off dead enemies, start with 5 and count down, and when you can announce it to the team. Belive it or not but people lose because they think one guy was left but there was actually 2.

Don't ever buy glock ammo, it comes with enough as it is.

Buy everything you possibly can on the last round because it is the last round.

Don't block off your teammates, let the guy that can get the shot get it.

Don't run with your knife out unless it it before a [choke point]. Have a pistol out at least.

Don't ever try to knife a guy unless you know you can kill them, because kniving somone can totally crush their confidence level. Though if you mess up, now you are dead.

You can move quickly when there is a lot of gunfire going off because the enemy can't hear you. but be careful doing this because some people have superb sound.

Silenced weapons can be good because you can hear the thud of the bullets hitting your enemies.

Break vents from far away if you can use it to your advantage.

When infiltrating a room, get a guy on each opposite side of the wall and look in opposite directions before charging in.

Your weakest player should be the bomb planter because he is going to need cover from all the team's best shooters.

When hard rushing only the first 2 guys should have grenades and throwing them. Though the other guys can have grenades, they should just save them.

The bomb should never be the guy charging into an area, he should be the 3rd or 4th guy going in.

Clear out a site before attempting to plant the bomb in it.

Discuss where to plant the bomb with your team.

Announce it to the team if you are near the bomb and you have a kit so they let you defuse.

Crouch when defusing, you are a smaller target.

Leave defusing the bomb to the last second in some cases so even if an enemy kills you they'll die too

When you have a guy sneaking into a bomb site as its planted and he is about to defuse, have a teammate spray a loud gun so the enemy doesn't here the defusal sound.

Though, try to never make mistakes like that (getting the bomb dropped out in the middle of the open.)

Also, if terrorists rush into a bombsite and you know you can't pick off any, try to weaken them and retreat, because your alot better off as a 5 man team then 4.

When the bomb is planted in a site, DO NOT try to rush into the site by yourself. Try to organize you and your team to rush into the site at the same time from as many angles as possible. The Bunny Hop strategy can be used in a situation like this.

Try killing all terrorists before trying to defuse the bomb but at times you don't have enough time left then get your teammates to just delay the enemy and cover you.

Tell your team when you are going in for a defuse, In fact, you should always be telling your team what you are doing in the game, so your team knows what you are doing and can help you if you need it.

Always remember the objectives, and almost always follow them, try not to joke around that much or you'll become the joke.

Always know how much time you have left, if you are the last guy and you have the bomb near the site with 2 minutes left, then wait and make sure the site is absolutely clear and the enemies are far away then plant it quietly and sneak into a good spot.

Always make sure you know the bomb timer. Whether it is 35 seconds or 45 seconds.

Always use your radar, and tell your team weaknesses in your defense or offense.

Always know where the bomb is and heading towards, if you are the bomb carrier make sure you tell your team where you are and where you think you are about to go.

Always try and be quite unless making diversions.

Use grenades at good times, its always good to have extra grenades so only use them when necessary.

Shooting through boxes can kill or weaken your enemy and if not that it will confuse them and get they might pop out of their spots. Then, as they pop out shoot them.

Discuss the names of spots on the map so people don't get areas mixed up.

Go over strategies as much as possible with your team, whether with bots of scrims, with other clans, or even just by yourself.

Use teammates without guns as diversion by jumping out into the open (Bunny Hopping) and then the guys with the guns pick them off while they try and shoot the distraction. This works well when you want to AWP somebody.

When moving to a position spread out so you don't get owned by one guy and watch all sides.

50 and above armor is just as good as 100 armor, so if you have 50 or above armor dont worry about buying more.

Buy defuse kits as often as possible unless you are sharing with a teammate. A good idea in the map Piranesi when you have a teammate on the roof with low health and a defuse kit and the bomb planted below and a teammate down there with no defuse kit and no enemies left and the bomb ticking; Jump off and either die dropping your defuse kit so your teammate can use it or jump off and defuse the bomb.

When low on money and watching a site from a close distance, hide in it and let them try and plant the bomb in it, then pop out and kill them.

Notify your team where enemies are, what guns they have, what the health is if you know, and where the bomb is. Buying sniper rifles can be risky, try to let the other team buy one, then kill them and steal it for your teams sniper.

A good rush to an enemy can really surprise them and in some maps you have to rush them so be a good rusher as well.

Spraying your gun can be a good thing in matches at times, it can be used as a distraction, it could seriously damage up a guy and leave him shaking after it.

If you know you are screwed by your enemies and you are about to die with a good gun, yell out to your team the enemy is their and either spray up the last of your gun's ammo or hide it so the enemy can't get it.

DO NOT rush into an enemy's spawn unless you know their are no campers there and your teammates have the bomb sites covered.

A good sneak strategy is to sit near a site and let your teammates rush to the other and plant the bomb then work your way through the non-populated bomb site and sneak up behind the enemy as they are trying to breach the other bombsite. Sometimes this can work before the bomb is planted. Just know who is guarding what site, and when they kill someone away from it, the site is probably open.

Know the rules of the match you are playing in so you don't break any.

Boosting guys is usually illegal but when it isn't use it as much as possible.

Try and keep your team together, you can be the greatest shooter in the world and still be killed because the other teams works better as a team. Pay attention to what guns enemies kill people with so you can use that information against them like totally surprising an awper at a close combat position and killing them.

Call out when you are reloading, or grenading the other team.

Try and keep voice chat to a minimum so your teammates and you can sound out the other team.

Try and always have a backup plan in case your first one gets screwed because of something.

Make sure everybody on your team is organized.

Announce the position that the bomb is planted in

When enemies are rushing a position hard most of them will all be whipping grenades at the same time to an area. Throw a flash right in front of them as soon as they throw grenades then either peek out and kill them or continue to delay them so your team can get there.

So by reading this you should know, that when you and your team are rushing area, save grenades in case a situation like this happens.

Good people can counter flashes instantly, like seeing a flash come out of the site and just throwing yours before they rush in.

Use flashbangs, frags, or smokes, or spraying to delay enemies from getting into a site.

When defending a site, only 1 guy should actually be right near the bomb and that is the guy who planted it. The rest should be at a safe position where they can see the bomb but not close to the site. And they should only come out when they hear the bomb starting to get defused.

Always try and not get killed by the bomb as a terrorist, and as a Ct and you know you can't get to the bomb just box in the terrorists so they all die and have to use up their money.

When the bomb is dropped and you are a CT, notify your team and smoothely, quietly, and safely move to where the bomb was dropped.

It takes 5 seconds to defuse the bomb with a defeuse kit, and 10 seconds without. The fastest beeping of the bomb gives you approximately 7 seconds left.

Always cover the bomb defuser.

Always cover the guy planting the bomb.

Use unused smoke grenages to defend a bomb planted.

Don't defend bomb sites from the same spot every round..switch it up so the enemy doesn't know where you are.

When rushed by guys, try and split them up by letting 1 or 2 guys rush out then flashing the them all. The 2 guys in the site will run for cover, while the other ones will retreat, then pick off the guys in the site while asking for backup from your team. By destroying the other teams rushers you will force your enemy to fall back and camp.

If your team decides to go an area, and they rush it and 2 guys are killed and the bomb is dropped out in the middle of nowhere and you know you can't get to it without dying. Then, camp back so your enemies can't get money for killing you, then the next round they won't have too much money and your team will get another chance.
