This game was one of Squaresoft's greatest achievements. The storyline is excellent, and music was very catchy. I found myself buying the soundtrack to this game as well as 6 and 8; the story of Cloud and Tifa's childhood "friendship" struck me nicely, as I have a childhood friend of my own. Although the graphics left much to be desired, everything else basically made up for it. People loved the game, and Square-Enix decided to make a DVD of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, which may be released in the summer of 2004. We'll keep you posted.

Graphics: 5/10
The graphics were good only if you aimed on using bag polygon shapes. The pointy-ness of Cloud's hair could stab someone's eye out.

Music: 8.5/10
Some songs can just get flat out annoying, and may even start to give you a headache. But if you like the Chocobo theme, they've got many variations in this game.

Storyline: 9.8/10
Each area of the game dragged you farther and farther into it, just as Final Fantasy VI did. And the idea of a super villian in the game instead of your normal bad guy was a very nice touch.

Overall: 8.9/10
I know (for those of you who have played and/or own the game) you might be saying,"she couldn't give it one more .1!?" I do think that FF7 does deserve a 9.0, but there are certain throwbacks in the game. Sometimes you may finish a mission, and find yourself totally stranded, not knowing what to do next (as I've found myself in that predicament many a time.) *sigh* You get the point.
