| Reviewed by: Alessa I haven't finished the game yet, but so far I think it's awesome. The graphics are excellent, considering it began on the SNES console. The storyline is pretty intense, and for the most part there's always something happening, never leaving you to be bored. With the introduction of the Final Fantasy Anthology, CG scenes and other extras were added for your enjoyment. In my opinion, truly a great game. Graphics: 8/10 The graphics used we awesome on the SNES, but they didn't bother updating it for the Anthology. It would have been great to see VI modeled into VIII graphics. Music: 9/10 The songs? A lot of them are very catchy. Often times I found myself sitting at one spot in the game just to listen to the music. Now I have the soundtrack. Storyline: 10/10 I've heard a lot of people say that "FFVI was the best FF of all time!" To me, I love the storyline. Every bit of the storyline just drags you deeper and deeper into it. RPG: 10/10 Character name-able says that. RPG games where you can basically name your whole team whatever you'd like seem awesome to me. Overall: 9.2/10 Same games just don't rank this good. Worth it to buy. |
