Saturday, August 9 – Register team at Fanball.com (by 10pm EST)

Monday, August 11 – Trades can officially be announced (a trade cannot be announced if both teams are not registered) – see below for trading information and rules.

Tuesday, August 19 – Trading Deadline is at 10pm EST… any trade emailed to me after 10pm will be voided.

Thursday, August 21 – Draft begins at 10am EST.

Draft Rules  

1. The first five rounds will be 12 hours per pick with the draft being closed from 1am EST until 9am EST. If it looks like you will be up during that time, please try to set a drat card.

2. If the draft seems to be moving smoothly, the time may not be changed. If it looks like we need to pick things up a bit, the draft time will be reduced to 8 hours per pick (the closed times will not change).

3. The final five picks will be reduced to 8 hours per pick to a minimum of 4 hours per pick. Again, this will be determined by how quickly the draft is moving along.

4. If you want to make a trade during the draft, remember that you must trade the same amount of draft picks you are receiving. For example: if team A trades for team B’s first and second round pick, then team A must give Team B two draft picks. If a player is involved in any trade, another player must be given to replace that player on the team roster. Remember that you cannot trade just one player for one draft pick, or multiple players for one draft pick or just one player. This is also in effect for pre-draft trades.

Tuesday, September 2 – Draft must be completed by 6pm EST.

Thursday, September 4 – 2008 NFL Season Begins
